The mysterious blue black Arabian . . .Oh, the splendor of the sight . . .
As the little child lay her head on the pillow for the night, she eagerly awaited the dream. Through the mists of time he came . . . racing the wind . . . his silky mane and tail flowing gaily in a salute to his Credator . . . a head so chiseled it seemed of the finest delicate porcelain . . . his coat the color of the blue black desert night from which he came. Generation after generation, little children and adults alike have seen him in their dreams.
The blue black Arabian has always been what dreams are made of.
No other breed or color has generated so much interest and art.
Purchased off the range of North Dakota in 1987 RBA Adonis (Rajar x Satin Rock) was purchased from Bonnie Heiser of Belfield, North Dakota. 8 crosses to black in his pedigree, RBA Adonis has been over the years a consistent producer of the rare blue black Arabian. He has been a consistent Pinto and Buckskin producer as well. RBA Adonis is a listed Pinto sire. Sire line Jamil El Kebir. Dam line *Urfa. 100% Early American Foundation. Through out his breeding career, RBA Adonis produced primarily fillies.
1988 brought about the move from the farm located in West Central Illinois to that of North Central Wisconsin broadened the horizons for what was yet to come here today by the addition of the American Saddlebred.
The Pinto CRAZE of 1994 brought about another search for the addition to the farm's stallion row of a black and white American Saddlebred stallion. So many of the stallions available were not true to producing consistently the elusive black and white Pinto markings in their off spring. The search came to a screeching halt here in the State of Wisconsin where we found the black and white Pinto American Saddlebred stallion, Incident Commander.
It seems when one is smitten with the "horse bug" you are never done searching for the "right" horse to compliment your breeding program. You guessed it, the quest had begun again to add yet another chapter to the saga of ElMarees Equine Services.
In 1997 another chapter was added to the book of ElMarees Equine Services when the black son of Carnival Razz Ma Tazz was added to the barn. Command's Night Sentry (Carnival Razz Ma Tazz x Command's Hot Chocolate) was purchased as a stallion prospect. Since his addition to the barn Command's Night Sentry has proven himself over the years to consistently produce not only true black but black and white Pinto as well.
Since then, Carnival Cabaret (Command's Night Sentry x Winter Carnival's Apolonjia) has been retained by the farm as a stallion prospect. ElMarees Equine Services went for the "GOLD" with the purchase of the golden Palomino American Saddlebred stallion Gold Rank (Hysted's Whirlwind Jewel x She's A High Roller).
Over the years I have been very fortunate to of had and still have the honor of a life time friend found in RBA Adonis. At the age of then 21 the quest for the right replacement when the time is to come was found with the purchase of the black son of Dhar Faa Halim, Faa El Shadow from Peggy Wojchik in 2003. Not only is Faa El Shadow the beautiful black color of his sire, he also has the splendid beauty and height of his dam of 16.1hh! Faa El Shadow is 100% straight Egyptian; Asil; Heirloom. The perfect ultimate replacement of a life long and devoted friend that has been of RBA Adonis.
. . . . The dreams of children and adults alike the world over
will be secure for all time.
The blue black Arabian will never be obsolete as it's lines
strengthen and endure time's passage . . . .
Follow your dreams; for as you dream, so shall you become.
May ALL of your dreams come true. Debi Raatz
